Universal Arts is grateful to all our partners and supporters without whom we would be unable to produce an international programme of such scale and ambition.

Last year, 2010 we were awarded the Edinburgh Spotlight Best Fringe Venue Award and in 2009, we won a prestigious Herald Archangel Award for commitment to quality programming over a twenty-year history. Arts Editor Keith Bruce described us as  ‘a crucial part of the fabric of the Fringe, bringing performances of music and theatre, dance and work for children from all over the world .. a vibrant and colourful programme." The Herald, 15th August 2009.

We are always looking to forge new partnerships with individuals, businesses and organisations who share our passion for high quality theatre, international understanding and collaboration, the best customer care and service and, above all, passionate, entertaining and extraordinary live experiences.

Partners and sponsors 2011

In 2011 we are, once again, working with The Spotlight, the stage and screen casting directory, to provide a Spotlight Centre for their members.

This year we would also like to thank our new sponsors, Cutty Sark whisky.

We are also working in partnership with ETC and Stage Electrics to ensure that our international companies have access to the best technical equipment and the highest levels of skills development for our crew and for the companies' technicians.

Thanks too to Euro Business Solutions for supporting our Box Office and communications, and to all the local partners and supporters who continue to support our desire to bring new and exciting international artists to Edinburgh every August.

Thanks also to The Grand Lodge of Scotland for providing us with the Freemasons' Hall, one of Edinburgh's most beautiful and iconic venues, and for working with us to develop it into one of the Fringe's most comfortable and attractive destinations.
